Shy but inquisitive, Ari is very unstable when she first arrives in the City. She is shocked by her Prince's abrupt departure, and has almost  no knowledge about City life or even land life. She's a fish out of water, to say the least. Despite this, Ari is ready to become her own person. Throughout the season, Ari proves just how strong she is, and her true self, uninhibited by sadness or fear, finally shines through.

FAIRA

A blue-eyed bucket of drug-induced insanity, Rory isn’t sleeping until her Prince comes back for her. So, never. After being left by her total douchebag of a husband, Rory fell into despair. She was sent to the city, completely distraught, and moved in with Zel and Faira. In order to stay awake, Rory developed a dependency on cocaine. She has several magical gifts that she was granted at her birth.

Brash and overtly sexual, Faira knows how to have a good time. Faira and her prince traveled around the kingdoms attending wild parties, until she slipped into a drug-induced coma. After he woke her up just to leave her, Faira moved in with Zel. With little left to care about, Faira becomes very involved in helping Ari to find her own path, and soon comes to realize that her friendships are the most important thing to her.

After leaving her Prince and chopping off all her hair, Zel became a completely self-sufficient woman. She was the first of the group to be sent to the city, and she’s the only Princess with a job. After marrying the first man she’d ever seen, Zel was naturally wary of romance. However, as she grows and changes, largely thanks to watching Ari do the same, she becomes more trusting and open.

THE KINGDOMS
THE VILLAINS

After their whirlwind fairytale weddings, each of the royal couples discovered that marriage was not what they expected. Although each Princess's story is quite different, the end result is the same: alone and unhappy.

The fairytale Kingdoms are the stunning magical worlds you know and love from all manner of stories. These places are only for those who are on the correct path to a happy ending. The people who have lost their happiness are sent away.

The City is a central sort of purgaotry for the people who have been banished for living unhappily. In contrast to the Kingdoms, It is a drab and unmagical place. In order to return home, a citizen of The City must find true happiness.

Upon being caught by a hero in their wrong-doing, Villains are given the choice between a reformed life in The City or death. Most choose to reform. Once a year, they are given free-reign in The City to wreak havoc and cause mayhem.
