Originally from the Midwest, Mary has been acting and writing for as long as she can remember. After growing up with a diverse theatrical background, including Shakespeare, repertory theatre, and musicals, Mary expanded to on-camera work in college. She graduated summa cum laude with honors from FSU's B.F.A. Acting program. Since moving to LA Mary has concentrated on sketch comedy, both as a writer and an actress, working with groups like Funny or Die and BOTB. She currently studies with Stan Kirsch Studios and UCB. Special skills include high-speed sun burning and always winning Charades.

Cassie Keet is the Head Writer on Banish'd. Cassie began writing in AOL chatrooms at the tender age of twelve, inspired by Joss Whedon's Buffy the Vampire Slayer. An award-winning playwright, Cassie graduated from the FSU theatre department with Honors, cum laude. Since moving to LA, she has appeared on The Fosters, Mixology, and Ray Donovan, as well as in College Humor projects. She currently writes and produces original comedy showcases for Anthony Meindl's Actor Workshop. With several spec pilots and features in production, Cassie is now participating in the NBC Writer's Showcase. Basically, she writes a lot.

Joy Nicole Fox was born to dazzle and entertain. That’s not true, actually; she was born an incredibly shy child whose parents instilled in her a love to read. It was through those books that she discovered her true passion - bringing stories to life. After acting in many of Florida State University’s prestigious film school projects and graduating magna cum laude, she moved to Los Angeles to pursue her creative goals. Joy has trained with the Upright Citizen’s Brigade and is currently in class at Anthony Meindel’s Actor Workshop. She also avidly trains and teaches Taekwondo at Panther, and can now kick with great skill and precision.

After completing her B.F.A. degree in Film Production at the FSU College of Motion Picture Arts, Briana served as the studio manager and in-house casting director at Hollywood Casting and Film. She now works as general manager and producer with M.E.G.A. Media. Additionally, Briana has a strong background in casting for television and film. Some of her credits include RED Digital Cinema Camera Company, NBC, CW, MNET, TBS, Paramount Pictures, TruTV, USA, A&E, the Food Network, and Conde Nast. Briana is also an avid runner.

Patrick Nissim works in directing, producing, and cinematography. During his time at Florida State University’s film school, he produced a Camerimage award-nominated film, directed scholarship award documentaries, and lensed projects for Steven Baldwin, Interscope, and Cash Money Records. Since moving to LA, Patrick has continued work with documentaries, shorts, and music videos, including work with Bassnectar and Roscoe Dash. He is heavily involved with Think Tank Gallery, and most recently helped produced the massive live event, Night on Broadway.

It's time to meet the creative team! Our process begins with group discussions of various plot points and episode concepts. The writers then transform these ideas into fully-fledged scripts. We have recently completed and registed the first season of Banish'd! It is comprised of eight 22-minute episodes that are truly hysterical.

*PLEASE NOTE: In no way is Jacki claiming this quote as her own. We all know Gordon Bombay wrote this famous speech for his adorable rag tag team of underdogs. But it’s relevant probably.

Jacki Von Preysing is an actress and writer with superhuman powers of sarcasm which she uses only for the good of humanity. She hadn't thought much of writing until this show, when she realized her crazy could be put to good use. She graduated cum laude from FSU in 2010 with her BA in Theatre. According to her IMDB page (which she has been too lazy to fully set up), she hasn’t done much but throw herself into this project, although Jacki has worked on many sketches, shorts, and web-based projects. She does stuff. She would like to leave you with this—“When the wind blows hard and the sky is black, Ducks fly together.” *
